James Keenan, a native of Harrison, Arkansas, has traveled the world, but chose to make Northwest Arkansas his home. He graduated from high school in McLean, Virginia and earned a business degree from the University of Arkansas in 1987. James’ experience as a reserve officer with the sheriff’s department led him to create the Raven Foundation. The foundation has provided bicycles for patrol officers and supplies radar platforms to neighborhoods wishing to curb speeders on their streets. His passion for service was a catalyst in introducing James to the needs of battered women and their children. He has led the fundraising campaign for Peace at Home Shelter to build a new facility for those who need a safe place to recover and rebuild their lives. James lives in Fayetteville with his wife, Stacy, and their children, Patrick, Mitchell and Kristina.
