J. Max VanHoose is the Vice President of Store Planning for Harps Food Stores. A Northwest Arkansas native, J. Max graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1991 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. After spending six years with Hallmark Greeting Cards and earning his MBA at the University of Kansas, Max returned to Arkansas in 1997 to join Harps. J. Max is involved with the Springdale Rotary Club, his church, and coaching his girls’ athletic teams. He lives in Springdale with the three most important women in his life; his wife, Kelley, and daughters, Madeline and Linden. J. Max encourages everyone to support the mission of HOPE, and joins us tonight to honor his mother-in-law, Jean Sisemore, who passed away in 2005 after being diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor.
