Tony Hui, board certified pathologist and founder of Northwest Arkansas Pathology Associates, was born in China and reared in Hong Kong. He made his way to the United States at age 18 to become a Razorback. Tony received a BS degree with honors in chemistry from the University of Arkansas and his MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. His pathology specialty training was received at Los Angeles County-University of Southern California. Following a fellowship at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C., he was commissioned and served active duty with the U.S. Navy. He retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves with the rank of captain after twenty-one years of service. He is a member of the board of directors for the Fayetteville Community Foundation, is a long-time supporter of the NWA Symphony Orchestra, and is a member and former president of the Arkansas State Board of Health. Tony's thirty-year marriage to the former Susan Fountain has given him his own cheering section - daughters Jennifer, Alexandra, Mary Margaret and Victoria. A self-professed workaholic and gentleman farmer, his hobbies include cooking, stained glass and woodworking. He enjoys riding his tractor and finds brush-hogging therapeutic.
